Staff of the Year 2006
Each year, ICARDA gives 'Staff of the Year' awards in both research and administration categories. There are also awards for 'Outstanding Scientific Article of the Year' and 'Outstanding Research Team'. The winners are selected by the Center's Executive and Management Committees based on productivity, skills, commitment, and contributions in support of ICARDA's mission.

This year's winners were announced on the Presentation Day. They received their awards from Dr Guido Gryseels, Board Chairperson, and Dr Mahmoud Solh, Director General.

Announcing the winners, Dr Solh said: "I would like to congratulate all the awardees for their outstanding performance during 2006. These awards will be tied to merits and bonuses for 2006."
