Muhi El-Dine Hilali
Muhi El-Dine Hilali is livestock scientist with experience in dairy science, food technology, small ruminant farm management and nutrition, among others. His research interests include functional food, development of traditional processing methods, quality of dairy derivatives and safety, and animal nutrition. He also focuses on small ruminant production, dairy husbandry, dairy processing, quality of milk and dairy products, safety of products, and consumer health.
Prior to joining ICARDA, he taught and conducted research on dairy science at the Aleppo University. He has authored more than 32 peer-reviewed publications, including book chapters and conference papers.
He received his Ph.D. in food science and biotechnology from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (“BOKU” University), Vienna, Austria.
