We are delighted to launch the ICARDA Annual Report 2019.
Please take a moment to discover more about the important work ICARDA carries out to improve the resilience of rural livelihoods in dry areas through our innovative science and research-for-development.
Last year with the fantastic support of our partners, donors and the farming communities we work with, strong progress was made towards our goals of better climate adapted livestock systems, along with sustainable soil, land and water management, and improved agro-biodiversity and crops. These help countries and communities build resilient livelihoods, include more women and youth in agricultural enterprise, and forge more robust food-security systems that will be essential to #BuildBackBetter in the global recovery from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
We hope that this report helps to illustrate the progress of ICARDA and CGIAR’s essential work. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you wish to discuss our projects and any past and future collaboration.
